Trent serves as the Children’s Pastor for Hills Baptist Verdun and Mount Barker, overseeing our kids’ teams and programs at both campuses, including JNR YTH. With more than 15 years of ministry experience, Trent has always had a heart for Next Gen discipleship and is passionate about seeing young people grow into resilient followers of Jesus.
His background includes pastoral care roles in primary schools, and he previously served as the Youth Pastor at Mount Barker Baptist Church prior to its amalgamation with Hills. Trent holds multiple Certificate IVs and a Diploma in Ministry, and brings a deep love for Jesus, Scripture, theology, and history to his work.
He is married to April, and together they have two wonderful children, Maxana and Amos. Outside of ministry, Trent enjoys basketball, skateboarding, music, cinema, board games, and tabletop role-playing games.
